6th Grade Lit

Hi there! My name is Ms. Kelly. I love working in our community to assist 6th graders in learning about people and the world through books. Running is my favorite sport to participate in. I also love watching and coaching basketball.
I grew up in New Richmond and attended college at UW-Oshkosh where I majored in Elementary and Special Education. At UW-Oshkosh, I also ran cross country and track & field. This is my eighth year as a teacher in New Richmond. I am also an assistant coach on the high school cross country and track and field teams.
My greatest passion is teaching and learning, so I will do my best to make learning with our class as fun as possible. I love to laugh and I find that Sixth graders are some of the funniest people around. I believe that in order to get the best out of our year together, students must be excited about and engaged in their learning. We will work as a team to do that!
